On The Move Moving Company

TLDL; While there were minor issues with cleanup, overall, we highly recommend On The Move for a stress-free move (in-state from Cumming to Duluth).

To save costs, we pre-moved smaller items and disassembled furniture. The online quote process was simple, and Lauren W. was helpful and responsive.

The moving crew, led by Joseph, was professional, efficient, and careful with our belongings, especially our piano. The final cost was slightly higher than the estimate, but we felt it was fair.

Pros:
- Joseph (crew chief), Jayson, and Karchie did a great job. They were friendly, enthusiastic, hard working, and communicated well.
- They moved 2 heavy refrigerators at the “new house” when asked.
- They appreciated that I had taken time to disassemble furniture beforehand and didn’t have any boxes they had to pack or load.

Cons:
Minor complaints: these can be corrected by their crews being more aware of surroundings at customers houses.
- They left used and empty tape rolls, trash, and soda bottles in the rooms instead of cleaning them up.
- After they had left for lunch, I did a walk-through at the “old house” and discovered one of them had forgotten to take their drill they used to assemble some furniture. They were glad when I gave it to them and seemed embarrassed that it had happened.

Final thoughts:
- OTM is a great company to have you help with your move. I felt the prices were fair and the workers they employed were great.
- While we didn’t run into serious issues (furniture damaged, personnel problems etc.) I’m confident that OTM upper leadership would not hesitate to make sure the problem was corrected and resolved.
- Another happy customer for OTM!

On Wednesday December 11th OTM moved furniture from an assisted living facility to my in-laws home. The team showed up on time and provided me a call when they were 30 minutes out from the load up spot which gave me plenty of time to meet them. From the outset Joseph and Jayson were professional and took care of the furniture like it was their own. Each piece was wrapped and blanketed to provide maximum protection during the load up, transport and unloading. I can't say enough for the service OTM Movers provided and I highly recommend them, Thanks for taking the headache out of this move.

Joseph, Cody, and Seth came out to move a 6’4 family heirloom piano and they were amazing. On time, helpful, and very very careful. Would absolutely request for them to help next time!

It's impossible to truly describe how awsome Joseph and Jr were. Theas two guys were the best i have ever seen! True professionals, kind, respectful and fast. It only took them a few seconds to jump out of the truck and get started no joke. I was a mover back in the late 70's and 80's and these guys worked the way we we use to work. Bless they and do all you can to keep them. No one wants to work anymore especially young men but I can't explain how amazing they were. I hope someone reads this review and listen to me when I say they are the best. I'm still working hard in construction with 37 years and I know hard working people when I see them. As a small family owned business it's all about being professionals. They gave me 200 percent and nothing less. Thank you so much.
