DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY! I would give 0 stars if there was one. One of the most unprofessional company. They charged extra $500 on top of what they quoted. The driver parked outside the apartment and said he did not have space to come in even though there was plenty of space available and other trucks/movers easily make it. When asked about it on customer service, they said they saw google maps and decided there was no space. Completely unprofessional. Again, DO NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY!

This moving company has many, many issues/flaws …. Starting with timely communications, on time delivery and damage to furniture.

At time of move we were told that if we wanted the furniture to be wrapped in blankets with tape that this would be an extra charge. None of this was communicated to us during the booking process. I suspect that this was a way for the moving person to make extra money.

We had our furniture stored for a few months before move-in. We were told that once we indicated a move-in date that they would have 21 days to move us in. Once we gave them a preferred date/timeframe, we heard nothing from them for over a week. We finally received a phone call one early evening that they would be there the next morning at 8:00am. This was less than 12 hours notice and we had to delay this delivery by a few days. They charged us $250.00 rescheduling fee. On the day of the move in they indicated that they would be there between 8:00am-10:00am ….. they finally showed up at 11:30am with no explanation.

As they unpacked, it was apparent that some of the furniture was damaged. Many of the nuts & bolts were missing from some of the furniture, resulting with some furniture pieces being unable to be assembled. The moving staff had no clue as to what to do and offered no solutions.

This was the worst moving experience that I have ever had. We tried to work with “Kevin” in the Billing Department, but he was very smug and unwilling to listen etc.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

It has taken me a few months to write this review as I'm still very upset with this company. One Way Van Lines was a sub vendor for Landmark Moving. There was inconsistencies throughout the process from both companies. What was quoted at $5K doubled by the time it was all said and done. Company was slow to respond to inquiries. Movers damaged my prior home's freshly painted ceiling and wasn't going to say anything about it. I was charged $750 extra for a freezer that was in the initial count. Freezer was in perfect condition when loaded and no longer functions the same. Arrival date only happened in their timeframe after I complained about it. Landmark said I'd be reimbursed for damages; One Way only provides 60 cents/pound...what a joke! Thus, the damage to my prior home and all of the damages caused by the movers will not be reimbursed since it would cost me more in time to complete their convoluted document than to get the 60 cents per pound. Delivery to my new home was hours later than promised. I would highly discourage anyone from using this company...ever!

I wish there was an option to give 0 or even negative ratings. This is the most unprofessional company I have come across with no customer empathy. They mis-charged me and even sub contracted without my knowledge. In fact, Landmark Moving & Storage (another fraud company) had sub-contracted to One Way Van Lines, again without my knowledge or consent. One Way Van Lines lost a lot of my goods and even damaged items, worth a few thousand dollars! The shipment itself was delayed by several days and their customer care had no idea whatsoever. They have not processed my claim yet (it’s been 110 days now since I formally submitted my claim and about 130 days since I first notified them of the lost items and damaged goods), and don’t even have the courtesy to respond to emails or even answer calls. This company should be banned from operating and strict legal action must be taken.

Landmark Moving & Storage and One Way Van Lines are scam companies and are only around to extort money from customers.

Please don’t make the mistake of using both the mentioned companies’ services.
