These guys are fabulous! Everything from the free estimate, to the delivery of furniture was seamless. They were timely, communicative, knowledgeable, and everything survived the move (including our Japanese Maple tree - which other movers wouldn't touch). They were available for all my questions and concerns, and even tolerated my *could we move the couch over there?* moments. I actually asked them if we needed to move again (even though we are in a different state) if they would return and move us - the answer was, absolutely. Can't say enough good things about this company.

I called Micah when we were driving to Asheville from Colorado and we were literally an hour outside of Asheville and he had his crew meet us at our place not even 5 minutes after we arrived. The crew were all very sweet and professional guys. I will definitely be calling Micah once we get ready to move again.

Micah and crew did a great job of moving us across the state. They worked diligently packing everything safely. The crew has a strong work ethic. They are polite and professional. I highly recommend them!

This is our second time using Open Box. The first time was a local move, the second was long distance out of state.
From the beginning estimates to the end of the move, this operation is first rate. Micah is extremely professional in both himself and the work he does. He doesn't overlook anything in his estimate, takes pictures of everything and is very thorough in all aspects of this process.
The movers themselves were very respectful and friendly and professional.
What I think sets them apart from other movers is this. In any moves, there is a good possibility that something may get broken. It is how a company deals with what may go wrong. In our case, I have a very fancy, French card table (wood). During the move one leg of this table got cracked in half. The man who did it reported immediately to Micah and Micah, the very next day had it picked up by a local furniture repair company. When I got it back two days ago, you couldn't tell where it had been damaged. This table has a very specific paint job on it.
The only other thing that happened was the guys forgot to hook up the gas to my dryer. Micah contacted a local appliance repair company to come and make sure it was all done correctly.
Open Box Movers helps take the angst out of a very stressful situation. They are the only movers I would use.
Sorry about the length of this, but I think a good review is honest, and not just saying they were great. They were great, but sometimes things happen. It's how these things are dealt with that is important.

These guys did a great job moving a lot of heavy furniture up three flights of stairs in heavy heat! I had to reschedule three times because of issues with Uhaul delivering my belongings from a cross-country move on time, and they were very responsive and willing to fit me in last minute each time. They were efficient, friendly, and got the job done quickly and professionally!
