Pacific Movers

Move went well until our couch was set up One of the legs was torn off and the structure holding the leg in place was completely destroyed. Multiple places where the leather was scraped. Pacific movers stated that the damage was pre existing and denied my claim. Frustrating

If I could give this company a zero I would!! The packers (minus the head guy) were HORRIBLE! This was our 5th military move and I’ve never felt that our belongings were treated with such disrespect. It was almost like the mentality was “well if it breaks or gets messed up the army will pay for it”. The man who packed our office did not wrap things well (breakables in one sheet of packing paper) or just threw heavier things on top of breakables in the boxes. Many irreplaceable things were found broken or destroyed, and for no reason, as if they had been packed properly they would have been fine. Some nice clothes including formal dresses in dress bags and my husband’s business suit were found folded in a box with multiple heavy winter coats placed on top, instead of in a wardrobe box. We specifically told the movers that we had had a previous incident where something similar happened and yet they did the same thing. My husband’s dress uniform hat was shoved in a box with bags put on top, instead on being placed where it couldn’t get smashed. I have also found several dirty tissues in some of the boxes, which is just gross and a sanitation issue. Bottom line - I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!
