Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Pack It Movers Jersey Village.

I’ve moved several times in Houston, and after seeing this company touted as one of the “top moving companies,” I decided to give them a try. What a mistake. They’re nothing short of scammers. They misrepresented their charges, suddenly introduced policies and restrictions once they had my belongings, and then had the audacity to demand full payment for three hours of service before they even started loading my items. This is outright theft. I will make it my mission to ensure the people of Houston know the truth about Pack It Movers. Avoid them at all costs.

The fact that you all are lying and trying to make it seem like Mr. Flip is being dishonest is completely asinine. I was there with him, and everything he said in his comment is the absolute TRUTH. I witnessed the unprofessional behavior of the movers, except for one. Mr. Flip did not lose his keys—he unlocked the regular lock, but your workers locked the deadbolt, leaving us stuck outside for hours. I personally heard him on the phone with Roger, who was extremely rude and unprofessional.

It's outrageous that you're trying to spin this as if he locked his keys inside the home and is now trying to pin the blame on you to get you to cover the cost. He literally paid you guys $2,500! This company is an absolute joke. Save yourself the headache and avoid this nightmare. Moving is already stressful and expensive as it is. A proper company would have come to the home to assess the situation instead of assuming that a 26ft truck would be sufficient.

This was a complete disaster, and the lack of care is astonishing. Offering to replace the lock when someone is out over $1,000 is ridiculous. Imagine lying on social media—what a disgrace. This company is garbage, and I will make sure everyone I know hears about this. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

If you're considering hiring this company, don't. Their service is beyond unprofessional, and dealing with Roger Arias was a nightmare. He is condescending and downright dishonest. We agreed that the packers would come on Friday and move everything on Saturday. But Roger told his crew they were supposed to pack and move on Friday, which was a blatant lie. One of the workers even confided that they sometimes do this to squeeze more work out of the crew.

I moved from Houston to San Antonio and specifically asked Roger to send professional movers, as I’ve had terrible experiences in the past and was hoping for a smoother move this time. What a joke that turned out to be. I ended up paying $2,086 for labor and the trip on the first day, even though they stopped working around 2:30 PM, despite charging me until 3 PM.

When Saturday rolled around, one of the movers said he’d arrive between 10 and 10:30 AM. But because they didn’t bring a truck big enough for all my items, I had to rent a U-Haul with a tow dolly for an additional $391. I packed it myself and drove it to San Antonio—completely defeating the purpose of hiring movers in the first place.

Fast forward to today, 8/10. The movers finally unloaded everything, but they managed to lock me out of my townhome! Yes, you read that right—they locked me out. I had to call a locksmith, who charged $668 due to the high-security lock. All of this could’ve been avoided if they had just taken a moment to inform the front office or simply told me they were leaving. Instead, they just left after hounding me for payment, not bothering to mention they had locked the deadbolt.

In total, I spent $2,557.70 on the movers, $391 on a U-Haul, and $668.20 for a locksmith. And then Roger Arias had the nerve to blame me, calling it negligence on my part! One of his workers was blasting loud music while I was trying to work, and another did nothing but stay upstairs the entire time. Only one worker, Kelvin, seemed to be doing his job properly.

Roger Arias, however, is unprofessional, condescending, and a liar. He tried to twist the situation, making it seem like I was being unreasonable, and justified his workers locking me out of my own home. Now he’s refusing to reimburse me for the locksmith, trying to pin the blame on me. I never told them to lock the deadbolt—I had just moved in!

If you’ve read this far, do yourself a favor: steer clear of this company. They don’t value your time or your money. I ended up paying over $1,000 more than I should have, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.
