Pack It Up Moving

David and Robert moved a very over-stuffed one bedroom apartment in eight hours! From walking into the apartment to pack, stopping at a storage facility to unload overflow, to unloading and assisting with arranging the furniture in the new space, it took them only 8 hours. I was very impressed with both of them. They did not dawdle to stretch out the time and hustled the entire day to get everything accomplished. If I ever have to move house again, I will most definitely call them.

Absolutely horrible experience. I was quoted a low price even after I explained just how big a job I had. Money was super tight so my options were limited. When it came to the bill they wanted triple the quote. I offered double because that’s all I had. At that point they got very pissy and passive aggressive. Mind you, we’re two older disabled women in a really crappy position financially and otherwise. They refused to take the rest of our stuff. They left a tv out on the lawn. We have broken furniture and missing items. Pieces to my mom’s bed are missing. They even took a bag of trash with our stuff, put it in storage with our stuff and we ended up with roaches because of it. Seriously a nightmare experience.

Catholic Charities helped us move out of storage into our new apartment and did a WAY better job in half the time and out of the goodness of their hearts. I only wish I’d known about them before hiring this horrible company.

If money is tight, try reaching out to buy nothing groups on Facebook and offer trades for labor. Reach out to churches. There are other options.
