Pack It Up Moving

I was quoted $460 for a cross town move. 4 hours. 3 men. A truck. 2 scraggly, unfriendly guys - smoking almost constantly - showed up. Nice big truck though.

They moved pretty slow. But packaged things well enough. I stopped them after 1 hour and 45 minutes to allow 30 minutes travel time (only 15 minutes needed) and then 1 hour and 45 minutes to unload at the new address. It takes less time to unload than to load. Factually.

I drove directly to the new address and waited. The expectation was that they were headed straight to us. 75 minutes later they showed up. Said they decided to take lunch…. With all our belongings in the truck and without letting us know.

When they finally arrived, I was down the street picking up lunch for the family. They cornered my wife and tried to get her to pay $900 to unload the truck. Telling her that the job was just going to cost more and that they would not start unloading our belongings until we went ahead and paid them the new figure that was double…. because…. con men. I returned home and reemed the trash human beings that were hired by the company. One of which tried to tell me he was part owner and puff his chest out before calling his boss and the apologies ensuing. These guys were 1000% cons and tried to take advantage of my family.

We accomplished roughly 75% of the move due to being short handed and it was obviously a very poor experience. We paid the originally agreed upon amount of $460.

This is my second time using their service. I have to say, once again they did an outstanding job. Personable, polite, hard workers, and reliable. Thanks again gents.

Pack It Up Moving did a fantastic job moving my mother into her new place. They were punctual, hard working, and took great care to protect my mother’s belongings.
The movers were friendly and accommodating. Very easy to work with. I would recommend them.

Amazing service! They were able to relocate both mine and my girlfriend’s apartment into our new home. They did it all including set up at the new place. They took care of big furniture as well as the small boxes of fragile items. Would highly recommend!

The guys that unloaded us were very kind, very efficient!
