Pick any other piano mover.

Piano movers have literally one job, not to drop your piano. Not only did they almost drop my piano when they were moving it on the piano board, they did drop and ding my heirloom Steinway when they brought it off the piano board.

Worse, even though they said they would reach out immediately to take care of it, they aren’t responsive to the claim.

Maybe you don’t care about your piano, maybe it’s junk and you’re happy to add more dings to it, in which case these are the movers to pick.

However, if you care about your piano there are many other choices for movers, pick one of them.

Find a mover that will do it right the first time or will actually make it right if they do screw up.

I have had the unfortunate pleasure of moving numerous times in the last 5 years. It has never taken more than 3.5 hours to move my belongings with movers. I talked to Mikaela and gave her an itemized list of the items that needed to be moved from my 1BD/1BA. I was given an estimate of 3-3.5 hours. I accept that this was an estimate, but the movers took almost double that amount of time. It took them forever to complete the move. I moved my personal items myself. The movers only had furniture to move and 4 boxes, a large suitcase and a standup fan. I moved my clothes, kitchen, bath and personal items myself. The movers needed to use my personal moving blankets to wrap my tv (I had a tv box) and glass top dining table, they did not have any. It took them 5.5 hours to complete the move. At the 5 hour mark I told them I was only paying for another 30 minutes so focus on putting my bed together. I landed up putting my couch together myself and setting the furniture in my living room while they finished the bedroom. The movers obviously knew they took too long because they shaved 30 minutes off and claimed it as lunch. The move cost 40% more than the estimate.

Do your homework before reserving with them. I think they rented a truck and don’t even have their own equipment.

They did an amazing job! And came and saved the day when our other movers cancelled once they got to our place! Highly recommend for all you moving needs! They were quick, nothing was damaged or broken, and they were nice!
