Paul Hauls Moving & Storage

I hate writing this because Paul and his crew have been great in the past. We’ve used them for two moves in the past and they were flawless. The estimate was right on, move was quick and communication was great.
This third time was a completely different story. The moving crew was great as usual BUT we were charged 50% over the estimate. They had exact coordinates and the size of the home. No extra furniture etc. it was a 509 sq ft one bedroom. My frustration grew after repeated attempts to contact Paul went unanswered. He responded after the 3rd attempt when I indicated I would post a review. He apologized, mentioned there was a disruption in his business and that he would audit the bill and get back to me. Two days later the check was deposited ( my daughter paid them what they asked + a 20% cash tip) and two weeks later haven’t heard back. Inexcusable and frustrating. I can no longer recommend Paul and his crew as I feel that they took advantage of us and our good faith. Something is going on with them right now and I would not use them again.

They carefully packed and loaded everything, ensuring that even my fragile items were well-protected. The movers were efficient and worked quickly without compromising on quality.

What impressed me most was their attention to detail and their willingness to go the extra mile. They disassembled and reassembled my furniture, and even helped with setting up some of the larger items in my new home. The entire crew was friendly, courteous, and always had a positive attitude, making the whole process much easier.

Communication with Paul Hauls was excellent throughout. They provided clear information on pricing, which was very reasonable and transparent, with no hidden fees.

I orginally called several moving companies recieved a quote intitially for a 3 hour job, at $159.00 an hour with a 3 hour minimum. The price was a bit higher but I decided it would be less risky to go with Paul based on the revies After I booked the job and recieved the confirmation email (see attachment) for a job that was scheduled Late morning. When I spoke with the owner he said 11-12ish on the phone. The movers did not arrive until 1:45pm, the job took about 2 hours but because of the rain there was about a 35 min delay. However I was billed for 3.75 hours at $638.00, I thought this was a clerical error. I called Paul after the move Saturday and got a text that he would follow up Monday. Then on Wednesday when I had not heard back I called again and sent an email. I got an email reply that he would get back to me by the end of day Thursday. I waited until 4pm and called a third time. I was told that I also have to pay the drive time for him to drive to and from the location which was 'about an hour'. I explained that on the phone, in email, or when they called to confirm the job this was never explained. He said 'sorry it's a new guy, and he can send me all the other work orders he has'. I said this was not accetable I would like to be refunded for the additional $159.00 that was literally never explained. After 3 phone calls Pauls answer was 'its fine file your dispute, I'll just fire all 3 guys for you and then hung up the phone'. The movers actually did a great job, just hope that nothing goes wrong because Paul is extremely rude and after he has your money doesn't seem to care. Must be why this is a cash only business.

We moved our business office today and this crew was really great. They were on time, wrapped everything up well, and took a lot of care moving all our furniture. James, CJ, and Brandon were really nice and we can't recommend them enough!

Great job in fair prices and crew was very nice. However, they beached their trailer in my backyard and caused Significant damage to my lawn and sprinkler system, which they did not bother to address
