Penske Truck Rental

I rented a Penske at Home Depot in Middletown RI. The truck was being delivered from this location. First, I was contacted the day before asking if I actually needed the truck when I asked for it. I said yes, and was made to feel like I was inconveniencing the employee when I had this reservation booked for weeks. Imagine my surprise when I arrive at Home Depot the next morning and find out my truck has not arrived. I call Jasper from this location and get nothing but excuses. I waited nearly an hour for the truck to arrive and was given a small discount. However, this disregard for my reservation had a domino effect on my whole moving process- delaying movers an hour and pushing back a storage unit appointment are a major inconvenience. This is my third time renting from Penske but the first time dealing with this location and I was very unhappy with this service.

Forget the other moving/truck rental company. Easy online registration and excellent on site customer service. After being screwed over on my registration by the 'other' truck rental company, Penske came through and knocked it out of the park. Might be a tad more expensive than other companies but totally worth it.

Truck was almost brand new and very clean. Had great features (even more than my daily driver). Super impressed.

They've earned all my future moving truck business for sure.

Not much of a selection just like the rest of the rental places. Penske did shine out Uhaul after they canceled the truck rental, the day came and there was no notification that there was no truck! While Uhaul is now blacklisted, Penske is definitely our first choice when we need a big truck! Need more of those big 26 foot trucks though. Those are the perfect size. We had to go with a 16 and it didn't finish the job. Still, thank you Penske for being there when someone else left us with nothing. Guess they didn't want our money. That new model with the backup camera, was AWESOME.

Not happy that they won't take cash !!! Not cool I'll never go back ,!!!
