BEST RESPONSE TO THE WORST DAY! Would give 6 stars if i had them. I had come to believe customer service was dead. I promise you, proof that it isn't is all through Penske Truck Rental. From the woman at the Penske call center who took our initial reservation, to the gentleman I spoke to at their 24/7 roadside assistance, we, the customers, were the primary concern, every step of the way. Unfortunately, the truck we received had a coolant issue shortly after we picked it up. I called roadside assistance and spoke to a super kind man who allowed us to take our vehicle off the hauler so we could drive home instead of enduring the repair process to continue with this truck. I woke up this morning to find a full refund already issued. I expected to have to call and fight like you have to fight with EVERYONE up here to not get screwed over. How refreshing to wake up and find that Penske does not need to put me through all of that. They clearly understand the true meaning of customer service. Even though we had some issues with this rental... issues happen. Its all about how they are handled. This was a master class in top notch customer service. Bravo Penske! There's more to the story. Stay tuned for the rest of this grueling story to be added through my Uhaul review and MaineSpace review. I can't make this stuff up.
