Penske Truck Rental

I rented a van to move my daughter to college. I received confirmations of our pickup a few days prior to pickup and in spite of this the day I arrived to pickup the van they informed me they didn’t have a van. They could only offer me a 16 ft truck which was too large. We spoke with 2-3 Penske customer service reps and after 1 hour we determined the closest Penske van was 3 hours south of us. There is zero communication between Penske and Taylor Rental. When we entered Taylor Rental there was already a customer who was being told their two truck they rented were not available even though they also confirmed the day before. The Taylor Rental rep said this has been the 4th or 5th customer that didn’t get their vehicle. In speaking with multiple Penske reps it was clear they had no grasp of where their vehicles were and if they were available. We eventually gave up on using Penske and went to Uhaul. My mistake was giving Penske a try. We were perfectly happy with Uhaul where they were pleasant, quick and got us what we needed within an hour.

Looks for another place. It’s better to go to Vermont than here

It got me to Oklahoma from Upstate New York, but they charge about $650.00 just for dropping the truck off in another state that's not counting millage and insurance!!!

Really easy to deal with!
