I rent from Penske regularly, and unfortunately, the experience keeps getting worse. EVERY time, the back of the truck is filthy—full of dirt, debris, and who knows what else. It’s clear they don’t bother to clean between rentals, which is frustrating when I’m trying to transport my own items in a clean space.
To make matters worse, the office staff is consistently rude and dismissive. They act like customers are a bother rather than the reason they have a job. There’s no respect, no professionalism, and certainly no effort to provide decent service.
When I brought this issue up to the staff, specifically Malik, instead of addressing the problem professionally, I was rudely told to leave! I’ve never experienced such blatant disrespect as a paying customer.
At this point, all should seriously considering taking business elsewhere. Penske needs to do better.
This was also the 3rd time we had to wait in the morning for the office staff Malik Boddy to arrive late to work to get a vehicle.

It has come to my attention that Mr. Podhurst is involved in illegal and unethical practices in both Miramar, Florida, and Morgantown, West Virginia. He is renting out Penske trucks under friends' names to offer cheap service, which is both illegal and damaging to Penske’s reputation. Additionally, he is running an unauthorized secondary business of storage rentals using Penske’s resources, which is a clear violation of company policies and trust. Mr. Podhurst is also mistreating his staff at the storage facility, including forcing them to sleep in cars in front of the property at his Miramar location. Furthermore, he has entered into a fake marriage agreement to obtain a cheap rental property, which he uses to run a fraudulent Penske service. These actions are highly detrimental to Penske’s reputation and could potentially lead to legal consequences for the company. I urge you to investigate these allegations promptly and take necessary action to address this situation. Allowing such behavior to continue unchecked will only harm Penske's standing and trust with its customers and employees. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Penske came to my rescue when a U-Haul reservation fell through. Truck had less 30k miles, new tires, and a full tank. Joseph was most professional and helpful. I'll call Penske first next time I need a truck.
