Penske Truck Rental

I had a reservation, but when I got there at 800 AM, they had no truck. The Home Depot employee indicated this was pretty typical. Don’t rely on Penske at this location.

The guy who checked in the trucks was really pleasant, helpful and personable.

I have always rented trucks from Penske. They have excellent availability, good customer service and well maintained trucks. I used a 16’ foot this morning to do a 33 mile loop, picking up a sectional from a furniture store. Used 6 gallons of gas. Penske should update the estimated fuel economy of their trucks. (As posted on their website) 5 miles per gallon is pretty dreadful.

Penske is great to work with and rent from no matter if you're dealing with a franchise or on the phone with corporate. I've had good luck with both the AAA Storage, Penske rental and The Home Depot, Penske rental teams in Hendersonville. They also seem to keep newer equipment than Budget does.
