Penske Truck Rental

Be cautious when buying from this location! I recently purchased a Level 1 semi-truck from here, and they were incredibly slow in getting the truck ready to go. The worst part is that they supposedly inspected the truck and passed it. However, once I started driving, the wheel began to shake, and there was a knocking sound under the truck when making sharp turns, along with air leaks.

I immediately called Penske, and they directed me to the nearest location for inspection. The inspection revealed that the leaf spring and bushings needed to be replaced, along with two tires. Even their mechanic questioned how the truck passed the initial inspection. This negligence is extremely dangerous, as it could lead to fatal accidents.

The service manager needs to address these serious issues with their crew to ensure proper and thorough inspections in the future.

Never again. If you still move forward with Penske, pray that you don’t have any issues because they will not get resolved.

While their trucks are reliable. Their customer support was horrible. They are charging me for miscalculated charges for IFTA. I complained about this since January and pointed the mistake out to them in that same month yet no one listen all they had to say was corporate does that part. ( Why they didnt point this out to corporate I dont know). Also they have a hold harmless agreement that I was never told about that could have been signed back in January to avoid these charges but I was never told about this agreement until they charged for 4 months of incorrect IFTA charges. They say they contacted corporate but got no response. Which this is probably correct because I called corporate and emailed them and I have not got a response either. Which is horrible on that side of things. On top of that I have referred them business, and I had to let this particular business owner to sign a hold harmless agreement because who ever leased him the vehicle didnt mention this to him either. (Go figure). I followed up with them and they told me I could lease but I would have to put down a security deposit of more money. But even with their guarantee of it would not be taken from me I dont trust it because it seems like no one knows what they are doing from the location to the corporate office. The only reason
I gave them 2 stars is because they have reliable vehicles. This is why I referred them customers in the past. It has been over 2 weeks since I have tried to get this problem resolved and all I have got from corporate is more invoices and corporate asking me why I have open invoices when I have been sending them info they requested. The location still has not heard back from corporate. If you want to lease a commercial vehicle, please sign the hold harmless because they wont tell you and you will get a bill for incorrect charges and no one will attempt to tell you how to fix it.
