Penske Truck Rental

I had a wonderful experience with the Allen Park Penske office. We got the perfect vehicle at a great price with very good service. We got through to Penske right away after trying to reach several of their competitors and going to voice mail or being put on hold for many minutes. They held a vehicle for me without the need for a credit card number in advance. Excellent all around experience.

We recently rented a cargo van from Penske in Allen Park to move furniture for a new refuge family. Everyone we dealt with was extremely competent, helpful and pleasant. The vehicle was ready and in great condition. Overall top notch experience!

I reserved a 24 foot truck 3 weeks in advance. I get a call the day before I'm supposed to move they tell me that I won't be able to get a truck because they don't have any. Very disappointing but what can you do. So I went to uhaul not that crazy about them but they're dependable. Thanks for nothing Penske.

Take a video of the truck your are leasing. Take your time to take video and pictures of all the marks, scratches and dents.
When I leased my truck, I had to sign some paperwork in the office and they gave me the key and pointed me to where the truck was.
When I walked around the truck I noticed some scratches, marks and dents and I thought it was normal wear and tear but I took a video anyway.

When I returned the truck back they pointed out a dent and scratches and tried to convince me that they went over the truck minutes before I picked it up and those were not there. I was told they will send me a repair bill.
I called their manager and was told to take the video to them to prove that I was not responsible for the damages.
Will update you once this is settled.
