I hope this helps customers and future employees when considering Penske especially at Bedford Park

Negative work culture, unorganized management, lack of effective training and standardization for several employees with varying work experience. Poor HR presence and accountability. Low levels of advancement and upward mobility. They pulled a few of us out of mandatory training necessary for later promotion due to management's lack of proper shift planning making the possibility for promotion feel unattainable during the manager trainee process. Poor leadership but will take credit for 'building' an employee's skills despite the figure it out of your own or 'on the job training' nature of the position. Vulgar language and locker room talk amongst the rental counter and sales team that was extremely distasteful. Management will also make you work through your lunch break despite State Law to take a lunch break after a certain number of hours are worked and will even change time cards electronically to cut overtime even if you have worked 40+ hours in a week, which you 100% will work which is extremely unethical. They habitually put employees on performance improvement plans resulting in termination more times then not despite lack of staffing and resources for employees to effectively and consistently complete their duties. Most of the employees working at Penske articulate not liking their job or role quite often but needing the money to support themselves and family. In addition, coworkers articulated the lack of support from leadership on a weekly basis.
