They have no idea what they're doing, totally incompetent, go with uhaul hands down.
Connected with 5 different people now to get a refund on my truck deposit over a month later... they didn't have a dolly or furniture covers even though I reserved it, one of them told me they took cash and they couldn't refund my card even though I paid with card... one of them told me I had to drive back to the location to get a refund! on hold with them again... they're connecting me with the 6th person now.
Awful experience, I had called and reserved a truck with a lift gate on it as I was needing to move a washer, dryer, and safe all which needed the lift gate. The representative on the phone told me that would be absolutely no problem and that the truck would be waiting at my local pickup facility. I went to pick it up, there was no lift gate and I had still been charged for one. Not only did I not get my requested vehicle I was charged the rate for the lift gate. I ended up cancelling the entire rental and getting a full refund and was forced to hire a moving company on short notice because of this. I will not be doing business here in the future, I was told many different things from each support rep, the first said he would have the truck ready for me when I got there with the lift gate, the next one (after I had received the wrong truck) said that pickup facility never gives out lift gates but I had it on my receipt so it was setup for that and should have been there. The final representative told me that they do lift gates at that location however they never guarantee them to residential customers even if they were reserved in advance. Bad experience, delayed my move, many different answers to the same question. Overall it was frustrating and I was never provided the service I was promised and instead had to get a refund.
UPDATE:
I called their support line (which they asked me to call in the reply to this review) and they were not able to offer me any other assistance besides an apology. This call ended up being a waste of time as they were not able to offer any further assistance. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere until they decide to start guaranteeing residential customers what they reserve and pay for in advance. Not giving a customer what they reserve and pay for simply since they are not commercial is an unacceptable business practice in my opinion.
Rented a truck to move to Colorado, got it all loaded and when we started driving, the engine oil and filter light came on and started counting down from 145. We called the road side assistance number, and they told us since we're within 25 miles of where we rented it, to call them. So we did, and the lady tried to tell us to call roadside assistance and then got an attitude when we told her that RA told us to call her.
So, we sat in a parking lot for 30-45 minutes waiting on a call back with when a tech would be able to come service our truck. Finally get a call back: 60-90 minutes.
Nobody can even tell us when the last oil change was on the truck. Furthermore, in the paperwork that came with the truck is the personal information of the person who rented the truck before us.
