Penske Truck Rental

As far a reserving a rental for Penske. Tim Lett is the man. Professional and very knowledgeable. I don't believe he could make it any easier for me unless he drove the truck! Great job!

I made a reservation for a semi truck , the lady who did my reservation told me my total charge is about $1600 and didn't tell me there's a security deposit..When I walked into the rental office I met Erika and another young lady..Since the beginning Erika was extermly rued for no reason..She started ask me so many stupid questions and I answered all her questions..Then by a very rued way she said I have to come with a $2500 cashier's check as a deposit ..I was trying to explain to her that I returned a Penske truck yesterday after I rented for 23 day and without any issue and Penske didn't require a security deposit from me for it and I asked her why the lady who made the reservation didn't tell me about the sec.deposit before I get there and I was trying to tell her this is nor the way how should treat her customers but she got so rued to me and asked me to step out of the office ..Unless Im a very peaceful person it could be a different story...
It was hard to find someone to give me a ride for about 15 miles ..I lost my $3500 load going to PA and I was sitting in San Antonio for 3 days without work...

The other young lady was very nice and helpful..Usually Penske's staff are very nice and freindly ..

Penske truck rental- 6 stars for Dakota the rep who saved the day for me with his amazing customer service - he solves problems quickly and he ensures a great experience. He made me feel confident in Penske and I’m super happy with my choice so far. I am making. Cross country trip and service at the beginning was amazing. Thank you Dakota!

I do not make it a habit to make negative reviews.
I am here at the Penske in Selma Texas for the 3 rd time trying to get my AC repaired. In the last 3 months my truck has been in here for the same thing at least a month. Customer service acts like we are bothering them , ( playing games on their phone) . There was a time this company truly cared about service and and respected the people that walked in for service. You all are not doing us a favor , and someday this attitude and service is going to catch up to your company. Today they are telling me there is nothing wrong with my AC, that it’s working. Told them that it started working when I drove in , it gives out on the road. This place is a joke, sorry but I would not recommend this place to anyone after driving around for 3 plus months without my AC.
