Just ended our rental of a large storage unit with Personal Mini Storage in Dunnellon on Rt41. We had only planned on renting there for a few months until our barn was built but Florida being Florida; construction wasn’t completed when promised and a couple months turned into 17!

Pros:
* Dunnellon Personal Mini Storage was very convenient to access, our large unit was equipped with two roll up doors allowing for easy accessibility for needed items.
* personnel were kind and easy to deal with.
* online reservation and payment were convenient.

Cons:
* unit was not water tight. Boxes on the floor were wet and items inside destroyed.
* Don’t use cardboard boxes, they draw critters. We are now dealing with infestation of roaches (not unexpected in Florida)
*suggest possible system to keep containers off the floor to allow for possible leakage and encourage air circulation in the event of moisture.
