Pete's Ultimate Movers

Warning…Warning!! This company is so very bad and you should run, not walk away. I hired them (with a $2400 deposit) to move me from Tampa to Illinois for $9000.00. After I closed on my Tampa house and 24 hours before these scam artists where to arrive and move me, I got the call from Pete and he said he wanted another $4000 or he would not move me!! He essentially extorted me at my most vulnerable time. I knew I could no longer trust him and I felt that once he had all my possessions he would have extorted me for even MORE ! I am a sick and handicap Veteran and needless to say this was devastating to my wife and I. We did find another mover and of course this company would NOT return my deposit. They are HORRIBLE people to do business with and you should RUN away from doing business with them.

Do not hire them!!!! We booked a move for 3 pm on 8/12 and they never showed up. Unreliable, unprofessional, and caused a huge inconvenience for us. When they finally got back to us at 9 pm (6 hours after they were supposed to be at our house) they didn’t even care to try to actually apologize. Terrible people to work.

These people said they will show up on the afternoon of 05/19 but then never showed up and I waited all day ended up canceling their service but the sketchy part is as soon as I cancel with them another movers called the same time and extorted double the quote for moving

The movers were horrible. I keep finding broken and ruined items. This company was supposed to contact me 'asap' but havent,haven't, can I get hold of anyone when j call
