Typical moving company do not believe the quote they give you. On my 240 mi move they had to stop for gas resulting in a 45-minute time difference between when we both left one location to the other. This added almost 200 to my bill. They should have come to the pick up with a full tank but decided to charge me extra for the time they took a break. A 6hr move quoted at 1100 + 2 additional hours resulted in a 1700.00 bill. And I was dumb enough to give them a 100 tip before they hit me with the overcharges
