PhillaGorilla Movers damaged my dresser and now they're ignoring me (when they initially said they would fix it).

I had PhillaGorilla movers move my things from my old apartment to my new one in Philly, only about a mile apart. Movers (3 guys) showed up on time and were friendly. They loaded everything up quickly and made very little noise. They did 'wrap' my dresser in plastic but I don't think they were padding things because the side of my dresser ended up damaged. It's still functional but there is a crack that is extremely visible because the furniture is white. Luckily I unwrapped the furniture before they left and saw it. The mover took a picture of it and said they would send someone out to fix it. I was never contacted so I emailed Christian about it. He did reply to my initial email asking for a picture of the damage, which I sent. I didn't hear back after that. Over the course of a month I have sent 5 follow up emails with no response. I also called and left a voicemail with no response. Extremely unprofessional that they are ignoring me and they clearly have no intention of fixing the damage.

If they had just followed up and sent out a guy to fix the damage, I still would have given a good review for how quickly and quietly they moved everything. Because they're ignoring me and clearly have no intention of actually fixing the damage they caused, 2 stars.

Great moving company. Racquan, Martiese, and Jawroski helped us with our move, and they were all professional, efficient, and worked so quickly, while still making sure that our furniture was carefully wrapped so it wouldn’t be damaged. Would absolutely recommend this company if you live in or near the Philadelphia area.

Absolutely amazing service! 10/10 experience! Crew showed up exactly when scheduled, got our stuff loaded onto the truck incredibly fast and once we got to our final destination in Baltimore we were fully unloaded ahead of schedule (which was reflected in the final price!) and absolutely nothing broken or damaged. We had Racquan, Jamique, and Rahshe as our crew and they were incredibly nice and professional and mad the experience zero stress for us! Highly HIGHLY recommend!

I would stay far away from this unprofessional company. I was quoted $3,147.50 to pack and move, and ended up paying them $5,409.42 plus over $1,000 in tips. It was supposed to take 8.5 hours to move and ended up taking over 12 hours even with my husband and I helping to load up. They damaged my treadmill disassembling and reassembling it, damaged one of a kind artwork, broke fragile items, and didn’t protect my dining table so it arrived damaged.

After months of back and forth with Christian, the owner, I only was able to get the treadmill fixed. He has stopped responding to my calls and emails to repair or replace my other damaged items. Disappointing all around. Do not recommend! Go with one of the other well-known companies - you'll pay more but you get quality service.
