Phils Moving Company

I had a wonderful experience with phils moving last year when they moved a client of mine who had several antiques , family heirlooms, fine art , and BIG furniture , Even when she was nervous or anxious those young men were the actual best ! They got the job done in a timely fashion ! They were informative and considerate .

We hired Phil’s Moving for our move from NY to NC. We rented a 26’ U-Haul that we planned to drive to NC ourselves. We weren’t sure that the truck was large enough to get all of our items in (it wasn’t). I wish I’d payed more attention to how things were packed. Picture number 1 is my Amish made dining room table under the blanket with another Amish table (feet first!) on top of it, as well as a weight bench in-between. Pictures 2 and 3 were of the damage done to both tables due to the weight of the items. Pictures 4 & 5 are of hand and foot prints on my furniture. I spoke with Tim regarding my dissatisfaction. I recognize that they are not responsible for damage that occurs during transit, but this is a result of poor packing. Tim’s response was that his guys are good packers and that we were expecting them to fit everything in the truck. This was not the case. After our tables and couch were loaded, there was still 3/4 of room left in the truck. We had about $8,000 worth of damage, and Tim said there was nothing they could do. The carelessness is inexcusable. Hire at your own risk!

His crew were right on time; made light work and took great care of moving my belongings out and to my new location, very courteous young men! Thank you Scott and Bill .
