Plateau Moving Company

Damaged 90% of our furniture. Decimated our solid oak dining room table. Compensation for damage is 60 cents per pound, so doesn't even help with cost of having furniture refinished. If you like your furniture, do not use this company. Movers did not seem to have any experience and didn't even wrap some of the furniture.

I arranged for a 3 man team to load a piano onto a van. The communication seemed to be a little lacking amongst their team and they arrived late. We made arrangements to pay via smartphone app, yet the movers spoke gruffly to my daughter stating they would not be leaving until payment was received. As soon as I was notified the load was complete, payment was sent within minutes. Mission accomplished, just not the best experience for us, for what it is worth.

They were able to come in 45 minutes in an emergency. My husband and his friend were trying to move our unsafe by themselves and an accident happened where my husband crushed his finger off. They were able to get it into the uhall but I didn't want them moving it out and I called Patrick and he sent 2 guys out in 45 minutes and were able to help us finish moving it. So thankful for them helping us with such short notice.

The guys were very polite and cool, and had a decent pace and drove the truck very well around hard places. Thank you Plateau. We will use ya’ll again.
