I am very pleased with my experience with PODS. Everyone I encountered was very friendly yet professional, and the cost was less than a truck rental and storage unit while I was in-between homes, not to mention having to unload, reload and unload again. I would recommend this to anyone who is moving!

PODS was the lowest cost option but also the most flexible and efficient for our cross-country move. PODS is the BEST! I love being able to take our time loading and unloading the containers without paying to rent per-day. This was our second time using PODS, and we will use next time if we ever move again.

Review:

Not only are they misleading when you first get a quote online, they changed my delivery date and told me that I was the one to go online and change it. Funny thing is, I moved to an AT&T dead zone and had no cell phone service and could not connect to the internet. My internet provider was not scheduled to come out for another 2 days due to the weekend (this was a very rough weekend for us). So, it was impossible for me or anyone else to go online and change it, on purpose or on accident. I had to go the entire weekend without any of our stuff. Since it was scheduled to be delivered the same day we moved out of the old and into the new, we didn't see the need to pack an overnight or weekend bag.
Also, when they give you the quote online, they do not add the total up for you. They throw a random amount below the list of charges at the bottom making it look like the total, but it is NOT. I ended up paying $500 more than I thought I would. Next to the total it just says, 'You can reserve now and pay later.' NOT, 'Pay this now, and the rest later.' They charged me the original amount that was listed on the quote, then another charge came out a few weeks later, than ANOTHER charge a few days after that. 3 separate charges. I called to get an explanation but all I got was that this is how they do their billing. They promised that a supervisor would call me back to discuss but I never received a call. (Update: I did reach back out as they suggested in their response to this review, and not only did I receive zero help, I only got more frustrated.) Their canned review response is just that, a policy their marketing has to negative reviews and has no intention of fixing issues. They will not help, as they really don’t care. They got my money and they are done. I have since filed a BBB complaint which is now closed with no resolution. I also filed a complaint with the FTC for their deceptive marketing practices.
