Used Pods to move and store my household goods for 4 months while my house was being built. I saved more than $10,000 by packing myself and using Pods! Everything arrived in perfect condition and the drivers and customer service reps were helpful every step of the way.
Service was a mixed bag. Staff are well trained and very nice but don’t have the ability to help much. Gave more of the trained corporate line. Drivers were nice. I had to alter dates and was simple. They are not transparent about their billing. Seems they just charge as they go along. When adding it up, is well over my original quote. Delivery of POD was over 2 hours late even after I confirmed with them that morning. I had hired labor to help unload and had to pay two people $60/hr for two hours. Driver said they should never tell us a set time. Overall I would not recommend PODS due to the erratic billing and lateness of delivery with zero communication. Look at alternatives.
Rude pods driver. Was talking on the phone while I was giving my directions to place the pods.
Did not place the pods correct and caused me inconvenience.
Looking at all the recent reviews of this Pods location do not use pods from here.

Edit - I called pods customer service and they tried to reach out to your offfice with no response. So much for your fake affirmations to take any action. Your location is a bad reputation to pods. Pods should close this location.
We moved from FL to PA and had a few weeks to store our things before moving into our new home so we opted to go the POD route. The POD team in FL was absolutely seamless to work with in terms of scheduling, drop off and pick up. I had planned our drop off at our new address in their online portal (where to place, how it should be facing, etc). The day of drop off came and they placed the POD in the wrong direction on my driveway. They say the driver will call you when they are on their way but I never received a confirmation call that the POD was coming which is when we could have confirmed POD placement. I had contacted Customer Service to get this resolved as they placed it wrong and they told me it would be $167 to reposition the POD. It was blocking out walk way into the house and just super inconvenient for the move so we opted to have it repositioned. I kept trying to talk to someone on a manager level to explain the situation to not be charged and the rep told me they weren't allowed to transfer my call... The next day we waited for them to come back and reposition and at the end of my delivery window, they never came so I called Customer Service again. They said they showed up to reposition but there was a car in the way. Again, they never called me to let me know they were on their way or that there was a car in the way (which was on the side and not actually blocking). I told customer service again this all would have been resolved if the driver had called me to let me know they were on their way like they are supposed to. Customer service escalated my issue to the warehouse team in New Castle DE and was told they would call me to reschedule this repositioning. I never received the call and got charged the money. At this rate, we wanted this thing off our driveway so after calling customer service again, told them cancel the repositioning and refund us the money and got it emptied.
The customer service team was not great to work with. They kept telling me they cant guarantee the driver to call me when they are on their way, could not connect me with anyone from corporate, could not connect me with the actual team in New Castle who was handling our POD, etc. After spending over $2,500 on this POD, I expected more of a seamless process but it was nothing but a headache. PODs are great if you are not using the New Castle team. They do not communicate and will not help you.
