I got my quote and the price seemed fair so we decided to use them for our move from SC to VA. Delivery of empty pods and transport went great. The drivers were great. Delivery in VA went smooth as well, except I was billed four times more then stated on my original confirmation. And there was no change in location. When I did original quote I provided city,state because that is all the customer service representative asked for. When I added in my street the price went from $137 to $465 per pod (we had 2). I feel this was an underhanded way to make more money by PODS since they didn't take my address in beginning. Wjen i contact customer service regarding the billing error, i was told they put in request and i should receive reund in 5-7 days. Only to receive an email the next day sayi g they see nothing wrong with my billing and refuse to guve me a refund. I would never recommend PODS to a friend! I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service and commitment.to honor their initial quotes!
Do not use this company! Originally I was happy with the ease of loading this trailer. The problem lies with the customer service. They will just lie to you to get you off the phone. I've been waiting over a month to get my empty unit picked up, and my HOA is pissed. I have called over 5 times, they said they had tickets in to address this, then apparently just closed those tickets. Now 10 days after my HOA said my trailer had to be gone, on the earliest pickup date available, they cancel the same day! Blame it on snow which will be under 3 inches and not start to 9pm tonight. Be aware do not use this service! For the money they charge it's not worth the hassle of HOA or apartments. If you like feeling powerless and getting your HOA pissed at you this is the company for you! Mind you they charge you per month you have the trailer so its a win win for pods to let this thing sit. I am close to the Roanoke location.
Customer service is terrible... As bad as it sounds, I can't understand a single representative. It's extremely frustrating and it seems each rep has their own 'rules' they follow..out of the dozen of reps I've spoken too, most have been rude and short with answers. if you can handle your service online without speaking to anyone, you'd be better off.
The initial delivery of the pods was great. On time with no issues. And the delivery to the new house was without any issues. We were told that they were being picked up on December 14 and the first pod was picked up on January 2 and the second pod has not been picked up yet.
