We have this pod outside of our house, in the side street that we rented from the POD store on December 5th for a month due to a gas leak in our home. We had to empty the basement for them to get to the lines. We were done with it within 11 days and called them to come and get it. They advised that they could not come and get it until January 11th, and that we would have to pay the difference. They are refusing to come and get their pod, stating there is nobody available...and they can only pick up so many a dsy. Their store is a mile and a half from where I live. It took them 5 minutes to unload it in an inappropriate spot, about a yardstick away from the curb. Honestly, I am surprised nobody has hit it. We did get a citation for it being where they put it, however was finally able to get the permit after we were through with it. They have been so unprofessional and honestly just rude. I am not paying for extra days when we did not even use the pod for the whole month we rented it for. Our agreement runs out on January 5th. If you guys need storage, I WOULD NOT ever recommend these folks. Has anyone else had any issues with them? Any suggestions on what else we can do? We called the city of Roanoke and advised them that the POD folks refuse to come get their pod. After many calls to them, even speaking with managers, they have been rude. Thank goodness they got me on good days and I didn't have to cuss them out. Yes, I'm trying to do better.

DO NOT BOOK WITH PODS IF YOU ARE IN THE ROANOKE/LYNCHBURG AREA! Our pod was supposed to have initial delivery on 12/12 (meaning an empty pod). They no called, no showed. We called customer service the response we got from multiple agents was “Roanoke isn’t answering”. At 8pm on the 12th we saw on our account that delivery was rescheduled for 12/13. AGAIN NO CALL NO SHOW. We called multiple times on the 13th, and we were even told at 2:20pm “the pod is leaving the facility now and will be there in 40 minutes” . The pod never came. Who lied? No idea. That brings us today 12/14, no pod. I’ve been on the phone for over an hour. I finally am speaking to a supervisor who said “there is nothing I can do. They aren’t answering the phone and there is no one else you can talk to”. My only option is to wait until next week and hope they deliver next Thursday! Mind you- our pod was suppose to be picked up next Wednesday as we are moving across the country! We booked this in OCTOBER. There should be no issues with scheduling! We were also informed that NO pods on the route were delivered the last 2 days! DO NOT BOOK. Let this be the warning you actually listen to.

Approaching day three of waiting for our pod to arrive without ever hearing from a driver or anyone as to why the pod has not arrived! Absolutely ridiculous! No word from the local pods. Countless calls with customer service that have gone nowhere.

It was so much easier to load up the PODS as we packed than to have to wait for moving day and worry about getting extra labor. Highly recommend.
