Unexplainably PODS lost the redelivery order for my new address in their system. When I had not received an email the evening before delivery, I called them the next day. In the call, the rep said: “It’s the strangest thing, all your notes from your previous call are here with your address and redelivery date but the order itself is missing.” I had to cancel my movers scheduled to unload the POD later that day and redelivery had to be rescheduled. I ate the cost of the movers’ cancellation and rebooking because PODS did an internal investigation and found themselves not liable for the mishap. The most awful part of all this experience was that I was scheduled for surgery the following day and PODs’ mistake caused me to have to recover with family rather than at my new home. I will never recommend PODs to family, friends or acquaintances.
