I reserved and received my pod with no problems... However, trying to make changes to my pod was a nightmare. The first two times I called, I selected the option that would have support call me back. Both times they called me back, no one answered the phone. The third time I called, I decided to wait on hold. I was on hold off and on for a total of over an hour just to be told they couldn't make changes to my order. Also there were chickens very loudly making noises in the background??? When I challenged the notion they couldn't make changes (I said I was under the impression that they had plenty of notice of four days), the lady on the phone hung up on me.
I understand if it is too late to make changes, but I felt like the call was handled unprofessionally and frankly I don't feel comfortable having PODS pick up my stuff after that phone call. If I can get a hold of someone who can explain to me when and where my pod is going and why I can't make changes I'll update my review.
Container was delivered over a week late. Every time I called for support there was over an hour wait. I moved from NH to NC and was told by a rep on 5/15 that my container would be in my driveway by 5/17. Received a message 5/16 saying there was an unexpected delay and that my container would now be arriving 5/23. When I called (and waited 2 hours to get someone) I found out my container wasn’t even in the correct state on 5/15 when I was promised delivery 2 days later. Escalated to a supervisor who opened a case for me to get compensation for my troubles (my wife and I had to buy a bed, countless DoorDash orders since we had zero cookware, and plenty of other things to live the now 9+ days without all of our things). Since that conversation I haven’t heard from the supervisor, or their comp team. It’s been over a week. Driver that picked up the empty container in my brand new driveway also left a massive tire streak while doing so. I wouldn’t recommend this service to my worst enemy.
