PODS Moving & Storage

Easy and well-priced

Our requirement was for very temporary storage space while moving a house hold while two closings took place. Very convenient and easy to load at ground level. We secured with a heavy duty padlock until the PODS were moved to the final destination. No need to store in a storage unit, then repack into a truck for final destination.

Pods was a seamless experience with our move. The people working at Pods (administrative and the transporters themselves) were all personable and genuinely cared about the stuff in our Pod, providing tips/advice on how to prevent the door from being stuck and what to do to help secure the stuff in the Pod. It was very easy to coordinate the delivery and pickups, and even change the date when we needed to because of complications at our first new apartment (we had to transition into another apartment as a result). The hire a helper service was efficient and they were able to locate movers near our new location to help unload the Pod, and those movers were fantastic, cared and were careful with our stuff, and just generally friendly and good people. Overall, Pods helped us save a lot on our move and was a great, easy experience. The only issue was the underestimation (very slightly) of what size we would need in total, but it ended up all working out just fine!
