I hope my experience isn't their typical business practice. PODS ships to many locations, others can cost you up to 10 times or more for delivery. With no collaboration, between them and the moving companies they suggest. You will have to juggle and negotiate everything on your own.

Wish I could give zero stars. Terrible experience. Advertised you will get your stuff in a time frame they are completely incapable of accommodating. Spoke to numerous PODS associates regarding this issue as I have 2 young children (6 years old and 15 months old) because no one told me it would take nearly 2 weeks to get my belongings. Try caring for two children without any of your things. I ended up having to purchase additional items like a crib and bed and dishes etc to cover the minimal for my children. When I called, I asked to speak to a manager and she reassured me she would see to it herself that my stuff receive a request for expedited delivery and give it emergency status. When I called to follow up a couple days after, the associate said that she submitted the incorrect documentation and that “I should just stay positive because I might open my eyes tomorrow and it could be there.”

… like, what? What kind of customer service is that. I paid $6,500 to not get my stuff for nearly two weeks and then was told to stay positive after their associates mishandled my case and delivered false promises. Do not use PODS for moving. Get a U-Haul and either do it yourself or hire people, but you will spend less than $6,500 I am sure.
