We used PODS 4 years ago and were pretty happy with the service. The biggest issue was getting our 3 PODS delivered to us at the new location.
Regarding our recent move, we asked for 2 containers to be delivered. We changed the date because the sale of our house fell through. We called back and changed the date again for our 2 containers to be delivered when our home sold quickly again. Only 1 container was delivered saying we wanted 1 on Sep 3 and 1 on Oct 2. This was their screwup but I haven't heard back from anyone to resolve this issue. We are requesting the $300+ fee be refunded to us and we placed a dispute over a month ago and I still can't get anyone to call me back...even after calling and leaving several messages, etc. Very disappointed in their service this time and will probably never use them again because of this bad customer service.
On time, professional delivery and pick-up of my PODS unit for a very fair price!
Using a POD worked well, twice, for me in accordance with my set of circumstances. I listened and accepted their suggestions for packing the POD, and had a very positive experience. My belongings arrived in one piece, no damage whatsoever, after a 1400+ mile trip.
Read all of the documents provided, ask questions, make use of their driver's experience and knowledge, their customer service and the job you've contracted should go without issue. (Barring, ofcourse, any unforseen catastrophe.)
