PODS Moving & Storage

I will never use PODS again. We had water damage to our home from a plumbing issue, so all of our furniture was moved into a pod for home renovation. We followed all instructions, did everything to keep the items safe. We never even reopened it until ready to move back in.

Upon reopening, there was water clearly coming from the upper back end if the pod, and all of my furniture in the back of the pod was submerged in 2-3 inches of water. All was warped and ruined. Mattress and box spring, vanity, Grandfather clock, sofa, all ruined..

The pod Driver stated the pod had a leak and apologized.

I submitted a pod claim, where the immediate response from 'Laureen' was that I am a liar, none of this is pods fault, and I am solely responsible. They also charged me $216 for moving blankets I never received.

This Company needs better leadership; someone who puts themselves in the Customer's shoes when things like this happen. I was truly shocked they didn't want to help in some way after all of the clear evidence I submitted.

Pods is hands down the easiest form
Of shipping home goods I’ve ever used. Highly recommend them.
