PODS Moving & Storage

We used two PODS for moving. The first one was sent to the facility and then we packed the second one. Very convenient service. It’s better to talk to a representative to get the details right.

PODS is very convenient. They do need to revamp their customer service. We had to call probably 5 times and each time had to wait on hold for an exorbitant amount of time, and were given misinformation which resulted in an unexpected delay of our POD.

With how expensive PODS is, I would have expected better quality and service. Our container was picked up 3 hours before the time window that was given to us and we were left with a lot of our belongings not in the container. The driver was in a rush to pick up our container and even woke us up at 6:25AM to give us a five minute warning that he would be at our residence. We had to discard a lot of our items that wouldn’t fit in our car. Even after talking with a customer service representative to get compensation for our items that we had to discard, they denied our request. We lost over $500 worth of items due to the false information we were given about pick up times. Definitely not worth the price of using PODS. I’m scheduling a delivery to drop off my items at another storage unit instead of keeping it in PODS storage due to the terrible experience we had.

I had a great experience from beginning to end. I highly recommend PODS. Their price was better than other companies.
