PODS business practices are backwards at best. Plus it is difficult to get a person on the phone that speaks clean English.
They block you from using your app account. Then you have to get permission to have access to your app account and it takes 4 days. I want to make payments but they make you call them in. Plus if you are blocked from your app account they won’t let you speak to customer service for any type of assistance.
While I was disappointed by a lot of issues along the way (miscommunications over financing), and the fact that recent snows prevented them from parking the pod on my lawn as I had hoped, my drop-off driver, Tyler Beckwith, was courteous and prompt, and did his best to place the POD in the 'next best place', and even though the combination of my lawn and low carport made it so that he had to place it on the street, I appreciated that he was willing to turn around down the street to face the entrance in the direction that I wished...
Had a delay in redelivery, the pickup days could only be on Tuesdays and due to this I had additional charges. Communication is lacking.
STOP HARRASSING ME!
I called pods in July 2023 found thier prices are to high. Found a local truck driver that helped me move. Which I did in October 2023. So I do NOT need storage or moving services.
Since July 2023 I've have been constantly harassed with phone calls
It's January 2025 just got another call.
DO NOT CALL THEM UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO CALL YOU HUNDREDS OF TIMES. EVEN AFTER YOU MOVE.
