PODS Moving & Storage

Pick and drop off windows are few to choose from could be days or weeks. U may not have many choices take whats available before it's gone 1hr could mean another week when u log back in. I moved local and had my stuff stored, in between move out and in dates. Everything else was extremely smooth.

We are remediating our house in Altadena,CA after the Eaton Fire and needed a place to store our items. Our pod was unfortunately vandalized and I followed exact protocol per my contract and filed a police report and called the company and was ensured we there were no issues because I purchased container protection. Our Pod was then unexpectedly taken off our property without any communication from the company prior (no phone call from anyone, email, or text) it was just gone. We learned that the Operations Manager at their Sylmar facility, Russel Groves made the call to dispatch a driver to pick up the pod and did not call me after receiving a call from a city maintenance worker impersonating law enforcement. He did not verify the validity of the call or inform me. Our pod was not secured for transport and unfortunately received a lot of personal damage. After trying to figure out the situation with local law enforcement they confirmed that they did not make any calls due to the circumstances of the situation. When connecting with Russel he did not try to remedy the situation, did not offer to drop the pod back off the next day, he yelled at me over the phone and threatened me and then hung up. I would not expect someone of management level to respond to a situation they created with such hostility. Everything I owned was in that pod and I just wanted to be treated respectfully. After nearly losing everything in the fire, we just wanted someone to treat us compassionately and was threatened with having our belongings broken and impounded.

Ty associate who came and dropped off my pod was super amazing. He took extra time to explain things and work with me on placement. He gave tips I hadn’t thought about. The local folks are really great! Should out to Taryn!
