PODS Moving & Storage

Ricky and Dean were great, they checked out our driveway on Google Earth to prepare for the pod drop off first and let me know the pods would both fit in the drive way and let me know I didn’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on a street permit! They are the best!

Ricky, the driver for the pickup, was professional and friendly! We still had a couple things in the pod. But couldn't get them out because the lock wouldn't open. Ricky was able to open it and help take the couple things out. He hooked up the pod with the machine that loaded it on the truck safely and easily without a frown or bad attitude. We appreciated his assistance with our personal items. Overall, great customer service by Ricky!
The driver for the delivery last August was Jr. And he also was professional, patient and friendly! And also great customer service byJr.!

The POD process was orderly and well managed by the POD related personnel. POD Customer Service, POD facility staff, POD preferred loaders, packers, hired helpers whom I interfaced with along my journey made the enitire moving activity less stressful and a successful event for me. I highly recommend using PODs Moving & Storage.

Don't believe them when they say their locks can't be opened. I had items worth well over 1K stolen from my POD. Mostly tools. But most importantly, a tool box that belonged to my late husband, which can't be replaced. It was obvious when it was opened that it had been tossed. It wasn't packed that way..
If you have to use PODs, get insurance against theft and itemize and photo everything that goes into the POD.

Contracted with POD’s for a large container to be delivered in the driveway way of my Santa Rosa, CA home & be picked up when fully loaded & transported to our new home in Yuma, AZ
Being an elderly senior citizen it took me a few months to load the POD in which time I was paying the monthly rental charge.
When I called to schedule pick up & delivery to our new address, I was informed that they do not deliver to Yuma,AZ & could only deliver it to Tolleson, AZ & I would be responsible to unload it & have the contents transported at my own expense.
For this huge inconvenience I was offered a 25% discount totaling $292.88 towards transportation costs from Tolleson to Yuma.
That would not even begin to cover the additional moving costs!
After speaking with a manager & filing a dispute, it was determined that in my original call my correct address was provided & they accepted all blame, assuring me that they will cover all moving expenses.
The new moving expenses involved a moving & I was reassured that they would cover the costs & I need only forward a final invoice to the claims rep at POD’s.
Three months has passed & I have yet to see any amount of reimbursement or be contacted on an update on my claim.
The financial hardship this has created for me is not acceptable & it’s probably time to contact an attorney.
Don’t do business with this company!
