I had an extremly frustrating experience with PODS, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values their time and peace of mind.

*Cancelled My Transfer Without Notice
I scheduled a PODS transfer from San Jose to San Diego through their customer service, who never mentioned anything about needing to sign a 'Rental Agreement.' I kept receiving daily emails from them, which I accepted, assuming everything was good to go. Without any call, email, or update, they canceled my transfer! I only found out when I checked myself. No notification at all.

*Terrible Communication & Unorginized Emails
They spam customers with tons of emails, making it impossible to know which ones are actually important.
Customer service failed to mention the Rental Agreement requirement during my scheduling call—basic training should have cover this! When I reached out for an explanation, there was no proper response or accoutnability.

*Website is Buggy & Broken
Their website keeps asking me to sign a waiver, even though I’ve signed it multiple times. No matter how many times I complete the process, the same waiver request keeps poping up—frustrating and inefficient.
Overall, PODS does not value their customers' time, lacks proper communication, and has a completly unreliable system. If you’re looking for a smooth and profesional moving experience, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Avoid PODS at all costs!

PODS was amazing. I almost can’t believe how good they are. By far the cheapest moving option, super flexible, and strangely amazing customer support people and drivers.

I moved from LA to SF, stored my Pod in Milpitas until I found an apartment. Once I did PODS obtained permits for me to park the POD on the street in front of my apartment, and went above and beyond in communicating with me at every point. I changed my dates a bunch of times and it was super easy and flexible. They were 50% the price of what all other moving companies charged me. It made my move so much less stressful than I was imagining.

Every single customer support person I talked to was refreshingly excellent. They’d call me back if we got disconnected or to follow up on stuff. I feel like they must be paid very well or at least hope they are, because they all seem to be great.

They made me whole move totally easy and stress free and I can’t recommend them enough.

POD delivery was flawless. Our driver was able to place it perfectly at the edge without damaging any plants, a challenging task. This means we keep use of half our driveway. Thank you, Gilbert P.!
