Review:

Save your time and money, go with another company. PODS Cost is far too expensive. Customer service was unhelpful and I’ll-trained, and Redelivery of POD was very difficult to schedule; I had to fit my move into their schedule, and it took months before I could make the logistics of fitting into their schedule work. Case resolution, unacceptable. Try a different option, save yourself the headache.

If you are on a schedule, PODS are not the way to go.
We scheduled our redelivery for a Saturday. We had booked movers, gotten care for my brother who is disabled so we could move into our new home.
1 hour before the PODs were supposed to be delivered, I got a call saying that they were not coming and would be there THURSDAY. I explained that, this wouldn't work for our family as we only have the movers for a day and we had taken time off to do this move. Without the PODS we were at a stand still. The lady on the phone told us one of our PODs would be delivered that day but the delivery window would be later. I accepted this, however I did state that my expectation was they were going to figure out how to get our 2nd POD delivered.

That day, I waited at the drop off location for the PODs. After being 2 hours after the drop off window I tried to use the website to contact someone. The website was down, no one was responding to my text messages and my phone calls said that the line was disconnected. After an hour, we were able to get ahold of someone who said they would probably be delivered at 9p and that they were down a driver that day. I was exhausted, but I waited. About 2 hours after that call, someone did text me back from their support line stating that BOTH of the POD's were rescheduled for Thursday. I explained how that isn't what the plan was and that I need to talk to a manager on the phone. The person on the other side of the phone over text told me that I would get the same answer and not to bother. But they did give me the phone number.

I called, and was able to reach someone. When this person said she would call the location I had some form of hope. That was gone after waiting for 45 minutes. The person on the phone was checking on me every 5-10 minutes saying she was still trying to get ahold of the center. After 45 minutes, she told me no one was picking up. She tried to reschedule my PODs to be delivered on the Monday and also filed a grievance for me.

One POD came on the Monday, while the other came on Thursday.

The grievance process was simpler then everything else but I don't believe that the resolution we came to was in my families best interest. At this point, our family had been emotional drained from this and just wanted it to end. We were refunded $200 promptly.

In this agreement, I don't feel as monetary amount reflected
-The day we waited for the POD
-The hours we took off from work to unpack and move in to our new home
-The care we had to schedule and provide my sibling with a disability
-The cost of our movers
-The extra time we would now need to unpack our pods since our movers were no longer available for 2 weeks.

Whatever positives we did have with PODS were completely overshadowed with this incident. If your family is planning a move, and you are an organized individual who schedules things so you can accomplish tasks in an appropriate amount of time; don't do POD's. Great in theory, awful in reality.
