Charles Glover, the driver who delivered the POD was awesome. He communicated early in the day his ETA and also as he got 30 minutes away. He patiently worked with us to figure out a solution where he could place the POD as we had miscalculated the width of opening of the gate to our driveway.

They lie about the monthly storage fees. They didn't place my container where I wanted it after they said they would. They essentially stole thousands of dollars from me. I would be cautious!

Really an excellent service! Great experience, seems really expensive at first, but if you’re moving long distance it’s 100% worth the cost. Highly recommend to anyone moving long distance.

Do not book online. CALL THEM. We ended up having to pay an adjusted ransom fee of $3,700 something to get our stuff back after an initial quote of $900. Turns out our new address was unserviceable, and we booked a container that isn’t shipped across country so we had to pay a huge sum to have it delivered to a pods location 3 hours away from our home and had to spend additional money on a U-Haul to transfer it from the pod then to drive back to our home with the U-Haul full of the things pods said they would deliver at the start. It became a money pit and felt like once they had our stuff, they could name any price we had to pay to get it back. It’s was upsetting, frustrating and put us in a terrible financial situation that has set us back during a time we were excited to have a successful start to our new life after a move. But due to pods lack of transparency and information we are now in an awful situation. If we booked a U-Haul it would have been cheaper by $2000. We know now what to do in the future and I urge others to do the same.

Charles Gloven was friendly, efficient, called ahead of time, arrived exactly on time for pickup. While PODS is a good way to store items, their monthly charge is way too high, we were charged $500 for delivery and over $300 for pickup. Read the contract carefully.
