Back office was great at communicating, crew was polite and showed up on time. We had everything staged and ready to roll and got moving fairly quick. Our crew of 3 was occasionally a bit slow to be getting things moved from the house and staged for loading on the truck and stood around watching one crew member get everything packed tight. They also started the clock before entering our home while they parked their truck, which felt a little off as I had communicated that we only needed load up help, and that we could not help them find a parking space for their large truck. However, the owner was quick to address my feedback and truly cared about making me a happy customer. Can appreciate a business owner who is willing to learn and provide A+ customer service.

I moved from Virginia to Massachusetts in late 2024. A crew from Potomac Moving showed up first thing on the morning of the appointed day and packed our 11-room house, where we had lived for over 25 years, in one day, finishing in the early afternoon. On the morning of Day 2, the crew loaded two trucks and drove to Massachusetts. Early the morning of Day 3, they drove into the Boston area and unloaded, finishing in the early afternoon. So the whole move, involving two trucks and maybe 6 or 7 tons of goods, took about 2 and a half days. We have now unpacked almost everything, and nairy a piece was broken, with the exception of a treadmill, which a different vendor they suggested had dismantled and readied for the trip incorrectly. One person from Potomac Moving oversaw the packing, loading, driving, and unloading process, and three of his crew also worked throughout the move. He did a superb job, and his crew were energetic and polite, knew each other, worked well together, and the absence of problems is all you need to know about their expertise. When I hired Potomac, I thought their prices reasonable; after the move with an absence of delays and problems, I thought they were a very good value indeed.
