Presto logistics was great! Got an in Home quote from Henry once they got the equipment to when they dropped it off the price didn’t change other than them having to walk further to the door so it was a small fee that I was already aware of so I don’t knock them for it. The only thing I would say is racing the main office. They seem to always be busy at the wrong time and take a long time to call back. My stuff arrived about 4 days after my ideal day but was aware of it before going with them. None of my stuff was broken, some boxes torn but everything inside was great condition the way they left. Highly recommend them!
Henry was professional and available from the minute I contacted him to the day my furnishings were dropped off. All of my belongings arrived on time and in perfect condition., A-list company that I recommend to anyone making an out of state move.
They took over a month for deliver, didn’t arrive on suggested date I wanted things to arrive, they couldn’t even locate my things because they use contractors, caused me not to work and all I got compensated was $200 when I paid thousands
Overall, we are very pleased with our move from California to Washington state by Presto Logistics.
As background, both my wife and I are former business owners, now retired, and have moved many times. Some with good experience, some bad.
We researched several companies. Most were anxious to provide quotes, but to get an accurate one they required that we did all the work in defining the inventory to be shipped. That’s not our expertise.
Presto was unique, in that Henry V. came to our CA home, did a careful assessment, and outlined what options we had and related costs. Most moving contracts appear similar. Henry made the difference for us. He was knowledgeable, professional, responded to our texts promptly, and alerted us to what caused changes in final pricing. He promised he would be our contact throughout, and he kept his word.
We needed to delay finalizing the contract until the home was sold and Henry remained in touch with us. We elected to pack many boxes ourselves, and have Presto pack the larger, more critical items. When we asked Henry to do a revised estimate, he did so without hesitation.
On moving day, the Presto crew, headed by Cesar, were on time, professional, careful, and communicated with us effectively during the day. We were impressed with how they wrapped and handled our furniture.
The option for 30-day storage was perfect for us, so we did not have to race the truck to WA.
On delivery day, The Presto driver, Brian S., was exceptional. He expertly backed his long truck onto our dead-end street and actively led his crew during the delivery. At the end of that long day all the furniture Presto packed and wrapped was unwrapped and reassembled with care. When we had trouble locating an item for our Grandfather Clock, Brian promptly contacted Cesar and through the phone we narrowed down the search.
In the end, there were no big cost or communication surprises.
In moving we expect some damage or loss, but nothing serious for us this time with Presto. In our experience, attitude and customer care starts at the top, and the owners/managers set the standard for their staff. In Presto's case, all the people we dealt with were top notch.
