Pro Movers & Storage

On today of all days when I was moving my Father into Assisted Living. They were scheduled to show up at 8:30 am. At 9:00, no one had shown up. No one called. I called the number for David and got no answer. After the third call he finally answered and said he had no appointments booked today, but that he’d check his book and call me back. He called back 10 minutes later and offered a lame excuse of how he had no idea how he missed it, even though he could confirm that the appointment was verified by phone. I can’t give zero stars, but I would if I could. This so-called business needs to find a new business.

We had multiple items missing after our move and using his storage facility. We had multiple items damaged including furniture. We even had furniture that was unable to be put together due to missing pieces. He never returned our calls or cared to inquire about what was missing. Will never recommend nor use again.

Everything was fine until I found damage to my furniture and TV following my move. The owner (David Garner) came to inspect the damage but would not return calls or pay for the damage as he promised. Similar complaints exist on the Better Business Bureau website. I wish I had checked with the BBB before using Pro Movers & Storage. Very disappointing to say the least.

Worse moving company in Alabama and surrounding areas. They will damage your property and not take responsibility. Will not return calls. If you use them, you will regret it!

I would definitely recommend Pro Movers. I called around and got several quotes and was utterly amazed at what people were quoting me. David came out looked at our belongings and gave me an exact quote! No surprise at the end like some companies and saying you owe more than expected. The movers were great. Very nice and took care in handling our stuff. It was a thousand degrees outside but they kept a good attitude. I am very thankful i found them. Moving is stressful enough but these guys are great!
