Pronto Moving and Storage was selected for my move by a moving broker (My Best Mover LLC). The foreman and one other loader (I think Baraa and Rocky) arrived around 9 a.m. on 9/19/22. I told them my top priority was adhering to the very detailed binding estimate, which I had update a few days prior and even got rid of a bunch of things between then and the move (including several pieces of furniture). My items took up way more space than they should have because of haphazard stacking, so the cubic feet required by the movers was about 50% more than the binding estimate. They had told me when they started loading that I would be able to evaluate which items to include on the truck, but that didn't happen because they waiting until the end to load my most important (smaller) items, forcing me to use more cubic feet. They discouraged me from purchasing extended insurance, stating the deductible would be too high to make it worth it and I probably wouldn’t reach the minimum total value. I was overcharged for stair fees; we had 42 stairs (6 flights), and the foreman charged an additional $450 for 6 flights and should have charged $300 for 4 extra flights because 1 was included and we prepaid for another. Then, they insisted on 9/29 as the earliest delivery date even though we asked for 9/20. The delivery on 10/22 was at 9:15pm and it was dark. Two high-value items were missing (Playstation 5 and Alienware gaming monitor, both in original boxes). Both were listed as high-value items on the Bill of Lading. The movers had labeled items with numbered stickers, so they should have accounted for them. The truck was repacked onto a different truck in Illinois (where my belongings sat for a month, allowing animals to access them, as I discovered when I found seeds and droppings in several of my boxes). They ruined a bookshelf, which I didn't even ask to be paid for because it was particle board. I reported the two high-value items missing before the movers left and immediately texted customer service. They required using their claims provider to get reimbursed. After a lengthy, poorly communicated process, the third party service, Moving Claims, offered me a $75 settlement for everything. This doesn't even cover the bare minimum - refunding the stairs overcharge and reimbursing me for the stolen items. Both claims service and mover said the other was responsible. The only good thing about my experience was Noelle in customer service, who was friendly and responsive.
Very unprofessional. Requested a refund from deposit 4 mos before our move amd they only wanted to refund 25% we were told by Scott that he would take care of any issue we have and that if we decided to cancel anytime before 30 days we would with no penalty.
This company took advantage of my elderly in-laws. Its disgusting to think that a company like this can take advantage of a very sweet couple! This company lied and made my 70 year old mother in law move everything back into place by herself.

If you use them, you’re paying them to rob you.
Zero stars if I could.
Held my stuff hostage for more money.
True thieves. Stay far away.
I’d rather catch Ebola that have them near my stuff.
Just horrible people.
I’d would cut off a finger before I let them touch my stuff.
