I would highly recommend using prosmart for your next move. I had to move out of my apartment within 2 weeks and they were very helpful and got me packed up. Mario and Curtis were very professional and super efficient! A great experience.

Don’t use these movers unless you want your furniture damaged.

First off I’d like to start by saying that the estimates were pretty on point and they do tell you the possible hidden costs. That being said, I think they will push for the additional cost of shuttling service ($350 plus cubic feet of your stuff) if you live anywhere in a city and they need to drive cross country with multiple people’s loads. There is a flat elevator fee if you live anywhere but the first floor that isn’t included in the estimate. Long carry is additional as well if your apartment door is more than 75 feet from the back of the truck.

The three things highly lacking with this company are timeliness, communication between the truck drivers and dispatch, and care of your items.

Pick Up: Drivers were 45 minutes late. They needed to move a junior one bedroom, they brought two guys, and it took more than four hours to do so.

Transit: I was called on a Friday that my stuff would be delivered either Wednesday or Thursday the next week. Didn’t receive any calls after that and decided to reach out on Monday around noon. I called and they said my stuff would arrive that day (no notice at all) or the following day. Received a text later in the day that it would be Tuesday instead.

Drop Off: I was given a window the day before for delivery between 9-12 and it was later updated that evening to 11-12. They told me I would be called an hour before the delivery truck’s arrival. Hadn’t heard anything so I called at 10:45 asking what ETA would be. Dispatch said they’d call the truck driver and have them call me. 30 minutes later I haven’t heard anything, I call dispatch back and they seemed surprised I had not received a call, no word on when the truck would be here. Received a call from truck driver 5 minutes later saying the arrival time would be at 1:00 PM (1 hour after the scheduled delivery period). Unpacking was quick, they finished moving everything in an hour, so that was a surprise.

Condition of packed items: All but one piece of furniture was damaged. All boxed items were fine. Desk came without a crucial part, making it unusable.

When working with customer service and trying to file a claim, I was bounced around to multiple people. Took many calls to try and get compensated for the damaged items. Filing a claim today. Apparently it takes anywhere from 3-6 months to have that processed and completed.

Overall, I would not use these movers if you are moving furniture, it will most certainly be damaged. If you are just moving a bunch of boxes, I think you would be fine, but could probably find a storage pod service that would be better.

Curtis and Mario were absolutely the BEST!!!!! They were professionals in EVERY way! It can be tough finding everything you need from movers, yet these guys delivered 100%! On top of that; compared to a few companies that I checked, their $ charge was very reasonable. I’m definitely giving Mario and Curtis 5- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!???
