I have rented at this Public Storage for several years and I have been happy and agree with the general comments. However I moved to another unit last July due to high increases and thought the rate would be good for a year. With no notification my rent was increased $30 after 4 months! I realize they have no contract now so no commitment on their part to guarantee the time period for your monthly rent nor how much it can be raised. What happened to a contract that gives a consumer the actual facts of their rental? I have to say I am very disappointed with them and afraid of what they will do in future.
Wow! Received a phone call from the manager already and he has reduced my rent and apologized for any issues with the paperwork! Thank you for restoring my faith in Jersey City PS. No wonder I have been with you guys fir so many years. Good job!
