Public Storage

Go elsewhere. No type of customer service. I have been a public storage customer for many years and I am now in the process of moving to another storage facility. I called this place on 2/26 and explained the guy I was paying a lower rate with public storage. I forwarded an email to them the same date and the guy told me he will check on this and get back to me.

I told him if extra space can’t honor the same rate, I’ll be moving to a different storage. I even said on their website their online rates are lower for a BIGGER unit. He said “between me and you that’s just to get customers in and then we increase the price” WOW. Ok whatever, anyways he said he’d get back to me to match the rate.

I emailed again this week to follow up on the email I forwarded and no response. I received a call form a different guy yesterday who gave a courtesy call as my payment was past due 3 days. I explained him the situation that I haven’t paid as I’m waiting to heard back from the first guy….

He placed me on hold and told me they can give me an 18 dollar credit for next month but not keep the same rate I been paying for many years. I told him I’ll be moving out. He said ok and asked when is my move out date lol.

I will be moving and that’s that. You guys can keep you $18 dollar credit as your business needs it more than I do. No common sense from them to keep a customer that’s been there for many years over 18 dollars per month.

Clearly they have a process to get new customers in at a very low rate and they raise their monthly rate according their staff…
