My experience at public storage has been awesome and that's really thanks to Sherry in the blackwood location! She is so helpful and very sweet I have been with public storage over a year and thanks to her if I ever need service again I know where to come!

Others have commented about Sherry at this Public Storage. And yes, I agree, Sherry was good and very helpful. She even returned my calls when other commenters from other Public Storage facilities said they hadn't heard from anyone. So, I gave this review 2 stars because I didn't go through the nightmare that others experienced during their move-out. But I MUST stress this seriously. I will NEVER use a Public Storage unit again. Not only are they dramatically overpriced (don't be fooled by the cheap rent at first), but my furniture was destroyed by mold, pest/vermin waste, and the ceiling lining/insulation that came down over my furniture. I had to throw all these things away when I moved out. Now I don't have furniture. Although I liked Sherry, she told me that I would have to sweep out that rat/mouse-infested unit myself when I moved out. But when another employee (Tracey) helped me close out my account, she said sweeping out the unit was THEIR job (hmmm Sherry...that was wrong). That didn't bother me as much as having all my furniture destroyed. Also, as I was moving out, I discovered that they NOW have this 'Vermin Insurance' offered to all renters as if it's such an exclusive offer. DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT. Public Storage is all about GETTING YOUR MONEY. And whatever you do, DO NOT dump your destroyed furniture on their property. It will cost you a whopping $10k if they find that you dumped your stuff on their property. I’m glad the movers I hired also dumped stuff for me. In all, I'm hoping that I can open a claim with my insurance on the furniture I lost. Enjoy the pics that I posted.

And yes, the picture I took of a piece of my furniture was ALL covered in rat and mouse urine and droppings. The same mess that I was told that I HAD TO SWEEP UP from the floor. Just disgusting.
